Louis IX "St. Louis" King of was born on April 25th, 1214 in Poissy near Paris, Seine, France.  Louis IX "St. Louis" King of's father was Louis VIII "The Lion" King of France and his mother was Blanche Princess of Castile.  His paternal grandparents were Philip II "Philip Augustus" King of France and Isabella of Hainault; his maternal grandparents were Alfonso VIII Sanchez "The Good" King of Castile and Eleanor Princess of England. He had two brothers named Robert I Count of and Charles I Count of Anjou King of Sicily &.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 56 on August 25th, 1270 in Near Tunis, Tunisia.
