Robert De was born about 1233 in France. Robert De's father was Ingelram De FIENNES KNIGHT and his mother was Maud HAMPDEN. His paternal grandparents were William De FIENNES and Agnes De DAMMARTIN; his maternal grandfather was Robert De HAMPDEN KNIGHT. He had four brothers and a sister, named Reginald De, Enguerrand, William de, Giles De and Maud De. He was the third oldest of the six children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named GILES DE and Maud De.-
