Her paternal grandparents were Henry de FERRERS SIRE DE CHAMBRAIS and Bertha ROBERTS; her maternal grandparents were Andre Seigneur De VITRE and Agnes De MORTAIGNE. She had three brothers and five sisters, named William De, Walcheline De, Robert de, Maud De, Milisent, Hawise De, Miss De and Isolda De. She was the second youngest of the nine children.-
