John I "Lackland" Plantagenet King of was born on December 24th, 1166 in Kings Manor House, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.  John I "Lackland" Plantagenet King of's father was Henry II "Curt Mantel" King of England and his mother was Eleanor of Aquitaine.  His paternal grandparents were Geoffrey IV Plantagenet , Comte d'Anjou and Maud "The Empress" Princess of England; his maternal grandparents were William VIII Count of Poitou X Duke of Aquitaine and Eleanor de Chatellerault. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Richard I "The Lion Hearted" King of, Geoffrey, Henry "Young King", Matilda Princess of and Eleanor Princess of. He had a half-brother named William I.  He died at the age of 49 on October 19th, 1216 in Newark Castle, Nottinghamshire, England.  He was buried in Cathedral, Worcester, Worcestershire, England.
