Matilda De Montgomery 
Matilda was born in 1040 in Montaigne, Sud-Mnch, France. Matilda's father was Roger de Montgomery II Earl of Shrewsbury and her mother was Mabel Talvas. Her paternal grandparents were Hugh De Montgomery I Earl of Shrewsbury and Josceline of Pont-Audemer; her maternal grandparents were William Talvas II Lord of BellÍme & AlenÁon and Hildeburg de AlenÁon. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Robert II De Belleme, Hugh, Roger, Philip, Arnulph De Montgomerie Earl of, Emma and Sibyl. She was the oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 45 in 1085.-
