Eleanor was born about 1513 in Of, Dyrham, Gloucestershire, England.  Eleanor's father was sir William DENNIS and her mother was Ann De BERKELEY.  Her paternal grandparents were sir Walter DENNIS and Agnes DANVERS; her maternal grandparents were Maurice BERKELEY LORD and Isabel affonso MEAD. She had four brothers and five sisters, named walter, Mourie, William, John, Annie, Catherine, Margaret, Elizabeth Or Isabel and Mary.  She was the third youngest of the ten children.  She died on September 24th, 1567 in Arle, Worcestershire, England.  She was buried in London, England.

‌Eleanor and William were married in a religious ceremony in 1529 in Of, Dyrham, Gloucestershire, England.  They had seven sons and four daughters, named William, Ralph, Hughe, Francis, Ferinando, Thomas, Richard, Elizabeth, Margaret, Cecely and Katherine.
