Joan Lady Of's father was Raoul I De Lusignan Count Of Eu and her mother was Lady Hastings Alice Countess D' Alice Lady Hastings/Eu. Her paternal grandparents were Hugh Viiia De Lusignan and Mrs. Orengarde (Nmn-Hugh Viiia) Lusignan; her maternal grandparents were [Count Of Eu-Lord Hastings] Henry Hastings [Count Of Eu-Lord Hastings] and Maud Plantagenet De Warren. She had a brother and two sisters, named Raoul III D'exoudun De, Maud D' and Mary De. She was the second youngest of the four children. She died on October 3rd, 1252 in Hospital In Brackley, Northamptonshire, England.General Notes
Piers [de Braine] married, 3rdly, Joan, LADY OF CRIEL, younger daughter of Ralph D'EXOUDUN, COUNT OF EU, by Alice, COUNTESS OF EU, daughter and heir of Henry, COUNT 0F EU. Piers died probably circa 28 May 1250, at sea, and was buried in the abbey of St. Yved-de-Braine, near Laon. Will made circa August 1248.
