Robert CORBET 
Robert was born in 1089 in Alcester, Warwickshire. Robert's father was Lord Robert Of Alcester, Warwickshire CORBET. His paternal grandfather was Hugh CORBEAU. He had a sister named Sibyl. He was the younger of the two children. Robert is no longer alive.General Notes
Credited with the first unification of the country, convertedthe Danes to Christianity, and conquered Norway. After hisBaptism his fathers pagan tomb was transformed into a Christianplace of worship.
Introduced Christianity into Denmark, he had the famous Jellingrune stone erected in his parent memory. He was fatally woundedduring a rebellion by his son and successor, Sveng I.
