Eustace I de was born about 1004 in Boulogne, France. Eustace I de's father was Count of Boulogn Boudouin II de Boulogne Count of Boulogn and his mother was Adele of Ghent of Holland. His maternal grandparents were Count of Frisia Arnulph of Frisia of Holland Count of Frisia and Luitgarde de Cleves. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Hugues II de and Helesinde (Elisenda). He died in 1049.General Notes
