Eleanor de was born about 1238 in Debden, Saffron Walden, Essex, England.  Eleanor de's father was Humphrey V de Bohun , 2nd Earl Hereford&Essex and her mother was Maud d' Eu.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry de Bohun , 1st Earl of Hereford, MCS and Maud FitzGeoffrey , Countess of Essex; her maternal grandparents were Raoul I de Lusignan , Comte d'Eu and Alice Countess d' Eu , Lady Hastings. She had a brother and a sister, named Humphrey VI de and Alice de.  She was the youngest of the three children.  She died after June 10th, 1278.

‌Eleanor de and John le Botiller de were married in a religious ceremony before 1267 in 2nd wife.  They had a daughter named Maud de.
