William De was born about 1210 in Elmley Castle, Worcestershire, England.  William De's father was Walcheline (Walter) De Beauchamp Walter and his mother was Joane (Isabel) De Mortimer Isabel.  His paternal grandparents were Walter De Beauchamp and Bertha De Braose; his maternal grandparents were Lord Of Wigmore Roger De Mortimer Lord Of Wigmore and Millicent De Ferrers. He had two brothers named Thomas De and James.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died in Elmley Castle, Worcestershire, England.

‌William De and Isabel were married in a religious ceremony in 1245 in Hanslope, Buckinghamshire, England.  They had five sons and four daughters, named William De, Walter Lord De, John Of Holt De, Thomas De, James De, Joan De, Isabel De, Sybil De and Sarah De.
