Ralph de Albini , of South Petherton 
Ralph de was born about 1126 in Belvoir Castle, Belvoir, Leicestershire, England. Ralph de's father was William "Brito" de Albini , Lord of Belvoir and his mother was Cecily Bigod , Heiress of Belvoir. His paternal grandparents were Main de Albini and Adelisa de Bohun; his maternal grandparents were Roger Bigod , Earl of East Anglia and Adeliza (Alice) de Toeni , Heiress of Belvoir. He had a brother named William "Le Breton" de. He was the younger of the two children. He died in 1192 in Acre, Palestine.General Notes
Ralph de Albini, the 2nd son of William de Albini, Brito, obtained fifteen knights' fees from his brother William in the 12th of Henry II [1166] and, in the 28th of the same reign [1182], he gave 200 marks for license to marry Sibella de Valoines, widow of Robert, Baron Ross, of Hamlake and Werke, and had two sons, Philip, his heir, and Ralph. Ralph de Albini, who founded some religious houses, d. at Acre, in the Holy Land, in 1190, and was s. by Philip de Albini.
