James Quick 
James was born on December 3rd, 1803 in Georgetown, Harrison, Kentucky. James' father was John Quick and his mother was Mary Eads. His paternal grandparents were Henry Eads and Sarah Elizabeth Sailors; his maternal grandparents were Henry Eads and Sarah Elizabeth Sailors. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Elijah, Cyrus, Martin, George Washington, William Gipson, John Henry, Lewis Deweese, Sarah and Elizabeth Minerva. He was the second oldest of the ten children.-
