Edward Somers 
Edward was born on August 12th, 1833 in Philadelphia,Pennsylvania. Edward's father was Edward Somers and his mother was Margaret Standring. His maternal grandfather was Standring. He had a brother and a sister, named George William and Louisa. He died at the age of 82 on December 9th, 1915 in Castleton,Stark,Illinois. BIOGRAPHY: Enlisted in the Illinois Volunteer Infantry on September 6, 1861. He was assigned to Company K in the 47th regiment. He served 4.5 years in the Civil War, until honorably discharged because of wpunds received in the seiges of Corinth and Vicksburg.
Edward and Elizabeth Ann were married in a religious ceremony on June 11th, 1866. They had four sons and two daughters, named Zack, George, James H, William, Mary Isabelle and Lizzie.

William Somers

Elizabeth Ann (Lizzie) Somers
Elizabeth Ann, known as Lizzie, was born on March 16th, 1876 in Castleton,Stark,Illinois. She died at the age of 74 on May 30th, 1950 in Sandy,Clackamas County,Oregon. She was buried in Fir Hill Cemetery,Sandy,Clackamas,Oregon.
Edward and Mary Ann were married in a religious ceremony on May 2nd, 1877. They had two sons and four daughters, named George, George, Carrie, Carrie, Emma and Emma.
