Francis Marion Javins

Francis Marion was born on December 9th, 1839 in Peytona,Boone,Wv.  Francis Marion's father was Daniel Watts Javins and his mother was Mary (Polly) Basham.  His paternal grandparents were Daniel Watts Javins and Margaret; his maternal grandfather was Nathan BASHAM. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Leander, William Macdonald, Frank, Martha Jane, Mary E., Nancy Ellen, Margaret A., Mahalia R. and Sarah E..  He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Daniel Watts, Euell Thomas, Caroline and Theodicia.  He died at the age of 77 in 1916.  He was buried in 1916 in Atkins-Javins Cemetery,Boone County,West Virginia.

‌Francis Marion and Mary Anne were married in a religious ceremony about 1880.  They had a son and a daughter, named Winfred and Alice.
