Achilles Hix 
Achilles was born about 1810 in Kanawha Co,WV. Achilles' father was David Hix and his mother was Mildred Huddleston. His paternal grandparents were William Hix and Hannah Garrad\Jarrett. He had five brothers named George, Ahas, Merritt, David and John. He was the third oldest of the six children.
