Constance was born in 1066 in Normandy,France.  Constance's father was William I the Conqueror DE NORMANDY and her mother was Mathilda DE FLANDRES.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert I II DE NORMANDY and Arlette Herleva Harlette DE FALAISE FULBERT; her maternal grandparents were Baldwin V Baudouin de Lille DE FLANDRES and Adelisa Adele or Alix of France D'AUXERRRE. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Richard, Robert II Curthose, William II Rufus, Henry I Beauclerc, Agatha, Cecily, Adela, Adeliza, Matilda and Gundred the Fleming.  She was the second youngest of the eleven children.  She died at the age of 24 on August 13th, 1090 in Brittany,France.  She was buried in St Edmondsbury,Suffolk,England.
