Maude was born about 1192 in Pembroke,Wales. Maude's father was William MARSHALL and her mother was Isabelle DE CLARE. Her paternal grandparents were John FitzGilbert MARSHALL and Sibyl DE SALISBURY; her maternal grandparents were Richard DE CLARE and Aife MacDermott Or McMURROUGH. She had five brothers and four sisters, named William, Richard, Walter, Anselme, Gilbert, Isabella, Sibel Sybil, Eva and Joan. She died on March 27th, 1248.General Notes
