John Briggs 
John was born about 1677. John's father was William Briggs and his mother was Mary Yelling. His paternal grandparents were William Briggs and Mary. He had two brothers and three sisters, named William, Thomas, Mary, Elizabeth and Sarah. He was the youngest of the six children.
John and Sarah were married in a religious ceremony about 1703.1 They had a daughter named Mary Biggs.
