John Reynolds 
John was born in 1830 in Cabell County. John's father was Ezekiel Reynolds and his mother was Amy Jefferson. His maternal grandparents were Henry Jefferson and Elizabeth Bushby. He had six brothers and five sisters, named James H., Thomas M., Isaiah, Len, Nathan, Alford, Manerva, Martha, Amy Adeline, Sarah and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the twelve children.
