Count Hugh I OF BOURGES

Hugh I was born in 0802.  Hugh I's father was Count/Count/ Hugh II "Le Mefiant" OF TOURS and his mother was Countess Ava OF UPPER ALSACE.  His paternal grandparents were Count Lutfride II OF UPPER ALSACE and Hiltrude. He had three sisters named Adelaide, Bertha and Ermengarde.  He died at the age of 51 in 0853.

They had three sons and a daughter, named Stephen, Tertullus, TERTULLUS DE RENNES OF and Adele.
