RICHARD I DUKE OF NORMANDY

RICHARD I DUKE OF was born in Fecamp,Normandy,France.  RICHARD I DUKE OF's father was WILLIAM I (2ND DUKE OF NORMANDY) and his mother was SPROTA(ADELA) DE BRETEGNE.  His paternal grandparents were ROLLO (ROLF) RAGNVALDSSON and POPPA DE VALOIS; his maternal grandparents were HERBERT I DE VERMANDOIS and BERTHA DE MORVOIS. He had a half-brother named ROGER I DE.  He died in Fecamp,Normandy,France.

They had six sons and four daughters, named RICHARD II, RALPH D'IVRY , COUNT OF, ROBERT, WILLIAM COUNT, MAUGER EARL OF, GODFREY, ALFRAED AELGIFU, EMMA OF, HEDWIG `HAWISE' OF and MATILDA OF.

They had two daughters named BEATRICE and FREDISTINA (FREDESENDE).
