John Clay 
John was born in 1668. John's father was Charles Clay and his mother was Hannah Wilson. His paternal grandparents were John Thomas II Clay and Ann; his maternal grandfather was John Wilson. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Henry, Charles, Mary, Elizabeth and Judith. He was the third oldest of the seven children.
