William Wolford 
William was born on February 29th, 1796 in Shenandoah County, Virginia. William's father was George Wolford and his mother was Catherine Smith. His paternal grandparents were Frederick Wohlfarth and Maria Eva Brunner. He had a brother named Elkanah. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 45 in 1841 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.-
