Christopher was born on January 5th, 1900 in , , Illinois. Christopher's father was John Wesley Taylor and his mother was Ida C. Williams. His paternal grandparents were Emmanuel Taylor and Mary Ann Durst; his maternal grandparents were Isaiah Williams and Mary E. Mills. He had a brother and three sisters, named Charles Edward, Lola Blanche, Mary Loretta and Evanet. He was the youngest of the five children. He died at 7 months old on August 10th, 1900 in , , Illinois.-
