Sarah Spears 
Sarah was born in 1850 in North Carolina. Sarah's father was Kindred Spears and her mother was Sylvester Brantley. Her paternal grandfather was Willis Spears. She had three brothers and two sisters, named James, William, Joseph, Mary and Rebecca. She was the youngest of the six children.-
