Walter Skelton 
Walter was born in 1875 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Walter's father was James Skelton and his mother was Nancy Scism. His maternal grandparents were James M. Scism and Anna Skelton. He had two brothers named James W. and Hugh. He was the oldest of the three children.
