John Skelton 
John's father was Reuben Skelton and his mother was Priscilla Christian. His paternal grandparents were John Skelton and Elizabeth Roberts; his maternal grandparents were Lewis Christian and Mary Cavin. He had four brothers and three sisters, named George Arnold, Lewis, Ruben, Thomas, Bertha, Louise and Mary Ellen. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named James, John, Richard, Nancy, Mary Ellen and Ruth Ann.-
