Abraham Carter Skelton 
Abraham Carter was born on September 14th, 1814 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Abraham Carter's father was John Skelton and his mother was Elizabeth Roberts. His paternal grandparents were Skelton and Ann; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Roberts and Elizabeth Clemmons. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, Alexander, John, William, Thomas, James, Reuben, Nancy and Mary Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 77 on July 4th, 1892 in Casswell, Barry, Missouri.-
