Samuel Simmons

Samuel was born about 1852 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.  Samuel's father was George Simmons and his mother was Catherine Loudermilch.  His paternal grandparents were Christian Simon Or Simmons and Catherine Amend Or Ammons; his maternal grandfather was Loudermilch. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Jacob, Hiram, Abraham, George, Susannah, Elizabeth, Delilah, Mary, Martha E. and Ellen.  He was the third youngest of the eleven children.
