William Thomas Shipley 
William Thomas was born on August 20th, 1869 in Tennessee. William Thomas' father was George Roller Shipley and his mother was Lydia Ann Hobbs. His paternal grandparents were William Park Shipley and Martha Roller; his maternal grandparents were Preston Hobbs and Elizabeth Fleenor. He had two brothers and a sister, named John Preston, George M. and Sarah M.. He was the oldest of the four children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Houston H., Daniel B. and Talitha C.. He died at the age of 36 on November 30th, 1905 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.-
