Hardy Sanders 
Hardy was born in 1747 in Edgecombe County, N. C.. Hardy's father was James Sanders and his mother was Ann Holmes. His maternal grandparents were John Holmes and Tamar Bird. He had four brothers named James, John, Brittain and Elick.
