John M. Rutledge 
John M. was born in 1871 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. John M.'s father was Samuel Crawford Rutledge and his mother was Mary Matilda Palmer. His paternal grandparents were Emanuel Rutledge and Sarah Kate Wilson. He had three brothers and five sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named William T., Samuel Walter, E. J. Houston, Rebecca Jane, Florida E., Sarah Martha, Mary E., Rowena M. and L. F.. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 67 in 1938.-
