John Crockett Rutledge

John Crockett was born on December 22nd, 1806 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.  John Crockett's father was Robert Rutledge and his mother was Catherine Crockett.  His paternal grandparents were William Rutledge and Eleanor Caldwell; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Crockett Jr. and Jane. He had three brothers and three sisters, named William Robert, George Powell, Samuel, Jane, Nelly and Priscilla.  He died at the age of 61 on November 25th, 1868.
