William Ross

William was born in 1830 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.  William's father was Frederick Ross and his mother was Theodocia. He had six brothers and a sister, named David, James, Frederick, Edward Manning, George, Charles and Fanny.  He was the second oldest of the eight children.
