Opechancanough Mangopeesomon Powhatan Chief Of The Powhatan

Opechancanough Mangopeesomon was born about 1554 in Virginia.  Opechancanough Mangopeesomon's father was Running Stream Algonkian and his mother was Morning Flower Scent.  His paternal grandfather was Morning Ripple Algonkian; his maternal grandfather was Dashing Stream. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Wahunsenacawh, Opichapam Itoyatin, Apachamo Kekataugh, Powhatan and Powhatan.  He died in 1644 in Jamestown, Virginia.
