George W. Portrum

George W. was born in 1836 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.  George W.'s father was Samuel Portrum and his mother was Lucy Ann. He had four brothers and a sister, named Henry, Samuel, Thomas W., Nelson and Lucinda C..  He was the second oldest of the six children.
