Samuel Peoples 
Samuel was born in 1820 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. Samuel's father was John Peoples and his mother was Lucretia Murrell. His paternal grandparents were Nathan Peoples and Margaret Kelsay; his maternal grandparents were Richard Murrell and Mary Ann Mabry. He had four brothers and eight sisters, named John, Nathan, Richard, Andrew Jackson, Nancy Jane, Ann, Margaret, Mary, Elizabeth, Lucretia, Sarah and Frances. He was the third youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 55 in 1875.-
