Melvina Parvin

Melvina was born in 1846 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.  Melvina's father was Ephraim Parvin and her mother was Maria Carden. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Augustus, Christopher, Isaac, Lafayette, Joseph, Elizabeth, Jane, Sarah, Amanda and Margaret.  She was the youngest of the twelve children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Henry L., Orville and Margaret.
