Udo I's father was Gebhard Of Wetterau Count and his mother was Oda Of Saxony. His paternal grandfather was Conrad Of Lanngau Count; his maternal grandparents were Otho I Of Saxony and Edith Of Germany. He was an only child. He died in 0949.
