William Levi Monroe

William Levi was born in 1844 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.  William Levi's father was Calvin W. Monroe and his mother was Mariah Jane Ann Larkin.  His paternal grandparents were Asa Monroe and Sarah. He had two brothers and four sisters, named John Franklin, James C., Nancy, Sarah M., Mariah I. and Eliza E..  He was the oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 76 in 1920.
