Mordecai Monroe

Mordecai was born in 1822 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.  Mordecai's father was Asa Monroe and his mother was Sarah. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Calvin W., Madison J., Robert, Martin Valley, Ellen and Marian.  He was the third oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 83 in 1905 in , Jefferson, Tennessee.
