William Miller 
William was born on October 13th, 1843 in , Harrison, Kentucky. William's father was Pugh Miller and his mother was Margaret Shawhan. His paternal grandparents were James Miller and Elizabeth Pugh; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Shawhan and Sarah Ewalt. He had two brothers named James and Joseph. He was the second oldest of the three children.-
