Leah McCarty 
Leah was born on November 29th, 1793 in , , Tennessee. Leah's father was William McCarty and her mother was Rachel Kyle. Her paternal grandparents were James McCarty and Sarah Fugate; her maternal grandparents were Robert Kyle and Leah Brooks. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named Robert Kyle, James P., William L., Andrew R., Absalom P., John C., Thomas Jefferson, Elizabeth, Mary, Martha, Sarah and Rachel B.. She was the third oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 69 on October 16th, 1863 in , Mcminn, Tennessee.-
