George Martin 
George was born in 1840 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. George's father was Aaron Martin and his mother was Sarah. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Martin and Elizabeth. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Ambrose, Anderson, Jane, Emeline and Minerva. He was the second oldest of the six children.
