William Marshal 1st Earl Of Pembroke 
William was born about 1146 in Pembroke, Wales. William's father was John Marshal and his mother was Sibyl Devereaux. His paternal grandparents were Gilbert Marshal and De Venuz; his maternal grandparents were Walter Devereaux and Sibyl Chaworth. He was an only child. He died on May 14th, 1219 in Berkshire, England.
