Peter Looney 
Peter was born in 1783 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Peter's father was Michael Looney and his mother was Temperance Cross. His paternal grandparents were Absalom Looney and Margaret Or Peggy; his maternal grandfather was Brittain Cross. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named John, William M., Absalom David, Benjamin, Michael, Robert, Coleman, Andrew, Margaret, Ann, Mary Ann and Rachel. He was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children. He died about 1784 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.-
