Madelina's father was George Henry Lindamood and her mother was Magdalena Blessing. Her paternal grandparents were George Lindamood and Marie; her maternal grandparents were Jacob Blessing and Elizabeth Ritschart. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Abraham, Elijah, George, Jacob, John, Philip, Ann Marie, Catharina, Christina and Johanna.-
