George Lawson 
George was born in 1846 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. George's father was Emanuel Lawson and his mother was Myra. His paternal grandfather was Thomas Lawson. He had a brother and six sisters, named Anderson, Lucinda, Franky, Sarah, Rosannah, Nancy and Rhoda. He was the second youngest of the eight children.
