William John Kyle

William John was born in 1777 in Fincastle, Botecourt, VA.  William John's father was Robert Kyle and his mother was Leah Brooks.  His paternal grandparents were Robert Kyle and Elizabeth Campbell; his maternal grandfather was John Brooks. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Robert, Absalom, Leah Or Jane, Rachel, Mary Or Polly and Martha Or Patty.  He was the third oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 46 in 1823 in , Giles, TN.
